The Intergenerational Literacy Program (ILP), in collaboration with Boston University, is committed to assisting learners and families in reaching their language, literacy, and career goals through education and connections with a range of support services.

Our priority is to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction by:

• Emphasizing materials and experiences that learners will encounter outside the classroom in instruction.
• Evaluating learner needs, comprehension, and progress on a daily basis, while administering routine assessments.
• Involving learners in class and program planning.
• Providing routine opportunities for staff professional development.
